From Rebecca Murray, your Guide to Hollywood Movies
Will a low-budget horror film be able to revive the box office? If not, can the return of Rowan Atkinson as Johnny English bring out moviegoers? Or maybe the 3D action comedy The Three Musketeers will surprise everyone and finish first over its opening weekend - or not. Business has been slow in theaters, but one of this weekend's new releases should be able to loosen Real Steel's hold on the top spot on the box office Top 10 chart. I'm guessing it will be Paranormal Activity 3 that does the job. The third film of the horror franchise takes place in the late '80s and shows the two sisters as young girls who are visited by a terrifying entity, and with Halloween a little over a week away - and no Saw film to compete against - Paranormal Activity 3 should have a decent opening weekend.
