| | The Thanksgiving holiday weekend means that instead of Friday, new releases opened on Wednesday. And this Thanksgiving day's theatrical offerings are really aimed at attracting families to theaters. Disney's opening The Muppets, the first theatrically released Muppets movie in 12 years, with all the familiar felt & faux fur faces as well as Jason Segel and Amy Adams. Paramount's also aiming for families (although not young kids as they'll get lost trying to understand the story) with Oscar-winner Martin Scorsese's first 3D feature film, Hugo. Sony Animation's ready to kick the holiday celebration into high gear with Arthur Christmas, the animated comedy which addresses the important question: how does Santa deliver all those presents in just one night? And The Weinstein Company has one of its potential Oscar contenders, My Week with Marilyn, opening in limited release with Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe and Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier. | | Michael Fassbender Discusses 'A Dangerous Method' Michael Fassbender's one of the busiest actors of 2011, starring in X-Men, Jane Eyre, Shame, and A Dangerous Method.
