She’s done it again! Wowed us with her chic style, that is.
Michelle Obama has given fashion watchers four years of awesome style to check out and we’re about to get four more.
Last night in Chicago, the very ladylike purple metallic dress she donned was by Michael Kors. She paired it with a black shrug and pink vintage statement brooch by House of Lavande. I guess you could call it the perfect example of “Election Night Elegance.”
She always knows how to dress appropriately for each occasion and how to dress for her body and this dress is very flattering and a style she’s worn before.
She’s also worn this particular dress before, which is one reason so many love her. She’s like us. She re-wears and recycles things.
Another is that she’s very democratic when it comes to brands. Yes, she wears big designers, but also plenty of affordable and accessible brands that we probably all own in our closets like Ann Taylor, Talbots, H & M and White House Black Market.
Regardless of your political affiliation, it’s hard to deny she’s got great instinct when it comes to her style and it seems her daughters do too. I can’t wait to see what she and her girls wear the next few years.
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for another term of her “Flawless First Lady Fashion.”
