Summer is just around the corner, although with temps hitting the 90s here in So Cal this weekend, it feels like it's already here! And to give us all a taste of summer now, People StyleWatch picks the hottest in fashion, beauty, entertainment, and music - the ultimate trends for summer.
Ear Cuffs:
"This is this summer's must-have statement accessory," says Kate Dimmock, fashion director, People StyleWatch. "Stars like Bar Rafaeli have been spotted rocking this super fun and edgy look. But unlike earrings, keep this look more simplified by accessorizing just one ear."
White Denim:
"We've seen white denim in jeans, but it's now making a play in denim jackets," says Dimmock. "Try a white denim jacket paired with your favorite summer dress for a fun, casual look."
Fringe:
"This is a great detail that we are seeing added to swimwear this season," says Dimmock. It's a bit bohemian, yet feminine too. Look for it on bathing suit tops, bottoms or on cover-ups.
Textured Nail Polish:
Get a beach-y look with textured nail polish. Try lacquered nail polish that looks like shimmery sand or glittery rock fragments. It creates a unique look for your nails - and plays up your entire outfit.
Colored Mascara:
It's the latest way to play up your eyes. Wear it on lower lashes for a bold look, or over black mascara for a subtle pop. Look for colors like purple, teal or eggplant and just have fun with it.
