Let's get ready to celebrate style and the movies! DailyCandy reached out to Glam Slam to help get the word out on its upcoming event, "Fashion in Film." The women's website teamed up with the folks behind the Tribeca Film Festival to put together this two-day event, which is happening in New York City, but will have plenty of on-line programming for the rest of us!
"Fashion in Film" will showcase some of the most stylish films, including "The Great Gatsby," "Moulin Rouge" and "Grey Gardens." Plus, it will also debut original short films, an exhibit of the costumes from this year's "Great Gatsby" and panel discussions with fashion/movie insiders.
"DailyCandy is always discovering new voices with a fresh take or a unique perspective – the 'Fashion in Film' event is an ideal way to merge iconic style and digital expression, " explains Alison Moore, DailyCandy General Manager.
If you can't make it to the festival in person, there's plenty to check out online. This will include interviews with well-known costume designers, a top 10 fashion films slideshow – plus, pointers on how readers can buy looks from famous movies.
