‘Tis The Shopping Season!

'Tis The Shopping Season November 4, 2013 After work on Friday, I went shopping to try and score some after-Halloween deals when I came upon this — a ginormous Christmas tree being erected! I have mixed feelings about this every year! Part of me gets excited and the other part of me starts to stress out! November 1 seems really early to start decking the halls. Is it me or is it getting earlier and earlier every year? (According to one store employee, they did start decorating earlier this year, so I'm not crazy.) Don't get me wrong, I'm no Ebenezer Scrooge, I love Christmas. But soon, Christmas decorations will be up in full force before Halloween. Of course, there is a flipside to the quick jump into the Christmas spirit! For more, read today's Glam Slam!
