| Bruce Dern Discusses 'Nebraska'
Alexander Payne's black and white dramatic film Nebraska finds Bruce Dern playing an obnoxious, cantankerous elderly man determined to travel to Nebraska to pick up a million dollar prize he believes he's won in a sweepstakes. His wife (played by June Squibb) and sons David (Will Forte) and Ross (Bob Odenkirk) know that what he's received is just one of those form letters sent out in order to get you to subscribe to magazines, but he's equally as certain he's just become a millionaire. Unable to convince him otherwise, David sets out on a road trip to put the issue to rest with the ulterior motive of using the trip to somehow help heal years of ill feelings he harbors toward his father.
