| Exclusive Zoey Deutch 'Vampire Academy' Interview
What can audiences expect from The Weinstein Company's Vampire Academy? According to Zoey Deutch who stars as 'Rose' in the film adaptation of the popular Vampire Academy books from Richelle Mead, this story has little to do with other 'vampire' movies and stands on its own. "I think the main difference is that at the very beginning it pokes fun at itself and says, 'We're vampires but we don't sparkle.' It has such a sense of humor about the world it exists in, but not in the sense that it's a parody," explained Deutch in our exclusive interview in support of the movie's February 7, 2014 theatrical release. "It's just funny and it understands how ridiculous and different all these vampire stories can be. I think that is a super fresh take on it. I think it's super funny as well." Read more
